Motivation to ride definitely isn’t a constant for me, and I’m still learning how jump on it when it’s there, and talk myself into it when it’s not.
After decent rides on Saturday and Sunday I wanted to keep it rolling this week with some hill climbs on my lunch breaks, but work got in the way Monday and today I forgot my shorts. ‘No worries’ I thought, I’ll bash out 45 minutes on the turbo when I get home.
But I didn’t, I flaked. Like my mind was already made up when I walked in the door. Too tired to turbo. I’m frustrated with myself but I guess the trick will be picking up where I left off yesterday.
And remembering my shorts.

I hear you about the motivational thing. It’s odd how I’ll try to find every excuse to not get on the bike but once I am on can’t figure out why I don’t ride every day. I am a photographer and have been incorporation cycling stuff into my book recently. Try to check my stuff out at http://www.scotthamiltonphotographer.com. You recently liked a Instagram shot of mine. Thanks for blogging.
