A few weeks ago Capsul sent me one of their wallets. I call it a wallet, but really it’s a small, rounded box to use for whatever you want. Like a tiny pocket organiser.
It’s one of those things I didn’t realise I needed until I got it, and now I want more of them. Things I’ve stuffed into my Capsul so far:
- bank cards, notes, coins and receipts
- headphones
- Camera memory cards
- pain killers
- loose house key
It’s ideal for taking on a ride – you don’t want your whole wallet but if you’re like me you do want at least one bank card, a fiver, some painkillers (disc injuries are no joke) and a house key. Keeping all that organised in your jersey pocket, sweat proof and shower proof, is harder than you’d think without one of these – I’ve been trying out, breaking and rejecting several different products over the years but I think this might be the one.
Both sides open up so it’s super easy see what’s in there without rummaging and faffing about. Its rounded edges make it a comfy item to carry even in tight jeans pockets. My only gripe so far is that it’s just a few millimetres too short – I took it on a work trip to Madrid and folding the Euro bank notes in half they wouldn’t quite fit, and neither will UK bank notes, which are notoriously awkward in shape. It’s no big deal really, you can just fold them again. I usually pay with contactless on my phone or bank card so I’m not in the habit of carrying large wads of cash. Painkillers and loose camera flash cards are a different matter though, I’m constantly carrying them around and now they have a place to live.
It comes in a bunch of colours, made in Canada and shipped internationally. If you fancy getting your hands on one, Capsul have kindly given me a promotion code to pass on, enter “CAPSULxEspertron” at the check out for 15% off. I’ll also have a few to give away to readers in the next week or so, so keep an eye out.
I would like to try one.
These looks sweet. Great review a always?
